Analytics 2.0 is finally here!

What is the the difference?

As the interface in Maritech Cloud remains the same - our backend software will be completely redesigned. Analytics 2.0 is built on a new, scalable, cloud-based platform containing all Maritech’s data.

The main things you will notice are new reports and a new color theme.

All the standard reports, module reports and bundle reports have been updated to a 2.0 version. You will find these in the folders in Analytics.

The help center is updated with new videos and articles for the reports. You can find it all here

The new color theme is used for all reports, both the standard reports and the reports you have created.

What does this mean for you?

  • Better data quality and control in Maritech Analytics

  • Overall better performance of the reports

  • To improve the report performance, more of the data is precalculated in the database. This means that the update takes more time, and you can now expect data in the reports within 15 minutes

  • All data in one place: Easier to combine data from different systems, adding external data sources, or aggregating data across companies in a group

  • Easier access to data: In addition to API, we can now share data through files in a data lake or give you direct access to the data in Snowflake.

  • Quicker development and deployment of new features

What is new?

  • Improved Inventory History with the ability to report inventory by packing and invoice dates

  • Inventory Movements reporting: get an overview of all the movements within a time period

  • CO2-emissions reporting

  • New Repacking standard report

  • Improved Certifications report

  • Possibility to combine and integrate reporting for P&S + TMS, P&S + Finance, P&S + market insight, etc.

  • Functionality to set up automated export and distribution of pdf reports from Analytics

  • Analytics reports available for mobile users

  • Possibility to set up your own company-specific color theme in Analytics

  • A new data catalogue to enable data discovery and observability coming soon

Updates for Design users:

A new dataset is available for the design users. The 2.0 dataset is called <customername>_ps_dataset. For a limited time period, both the new and old dataset will be available, so you have to choose the correct dataset when you create a new report.

You will get a mail from us with more information about your custom reports.

The dataset is mostly the same, but we have made some changes and additions:

  • Inventory Movements (not part of standard model)

  • Emissions (not part of standard model)

  • Nasdaq Benchmarking integrated in the same data model

  • Tags: all tags are available in the data model, not only certifications

  • Warehouse costs

  • Transfer orders: separate table to give better information about transfer orders

  • Custom dimensions for items, purchases and sales: all dimensions registered for items, purchases and sales are now available

  • Data on box level for sales and purchases

  • Lots of columns added here and there based on your suggestions

  • We have fixed some inconsistencies in the data model. Including:

  • Orders without item lines were previously missing. These are included now

  • Processing Orders (Sales Orders for ingredients and Purchase Orders for results) are now part of Sales and Purchases, not separate tables

  • Sales Booking in a separate table. Sales shows what is allocated, and the booking lines are not shown in this table.
